Unlike most earthen pots made of die in factories, our products are procured from potters residing in various parts of our country who still use the Potter’s Wheel.

✅ Naturally Dried:
Most earthen pots are dried in ovens at high temperatures, which ruins the natural clay properties. Instead, we leave them to dry in the open air and natural sunlight.

✅ No Harmful Chemicals:
Most earthen pots available in the market are coated with chemical paints or glazed for glossiness. Swadeshi Blessings highly condemn this wrongful act. Our products are made using naturally excavated clay and are unglazed.

• Submerge the pot & lid entirely in water for at least 24 hours.
• Take it out and wash it off with water. Allow it to dry in open for some time.
• After it is dried up, apply any virgin oil all over the pot, both interior, and exterior.
• Keep it for 5-6 hours till the oil is completely absorbed.
• Good to go for cooking on low to medium flame.
• Never preheat the pot empty.
• Recommended to cook some liquid meals in the initial 2-3 usage for better pot life.

Kindly season the pot as per the instructions given above. Also, detailed instructions leaflet is provided with every package.

✅ Cooking Tips:
Start cooking with a low flame and gradually move to medium flame. Sudden temperature changes may lead to cracking. Avoid preheating an empty pot or adding cold water/oil to a hot pot. Always add water/oil first, then start heating the pot.

✅ Cleaning Instructions:
Avoid using harsh detergents as clay is porous and might absorb chemicals. Use the provided 50gms of cow dung ash for cleaning the organic way.

✅ Mold Issues:
Since clay is porous, it might absorb moisture from the air, leading to mold formation. If mold forms, sprinkle baking soda on the inside & outside of the pot, rinse with warm water using a soft brush/sponge, and it's good to use again.

✅ Nowadays, clay pots are mostly used on electric or gas stoves, where the heat is focused on a small area at the bottom. Over time, small cracks may appear, which is normal and won't affect the pot's performance. To prevent further cracking, you can apply Fuller's earth to the outside of the pot.
